Karaikudi Chettinad Restaurant is proudly family-owned and built on a passion for authentic South Indian hospitality. Since 2009, our kitchen has served as a welcoming gathering place for families, friends, and communities across the Greater Toronto Area.
Our 5,500 sq. ft. restaurant is designed to offer you a dining experience unlike any other in the GTA. The space features genuine, reclaimed heritage rosewood pillars sourced directly from the historic palatial mansions of the Chettinad region in Tamil Nadu. Overhead, beautiful bamboo lattices decorate our central skylight, filling the dining room with the warm, airy feel of a traditional courtyard portico. It is the perfect setting for sharing a relaxed meal with the people who matter most.
Our Standards & Hospitality
We believe that great food takes time. That is why our family-led kitchen refuses to cut corners. We scratch-prepare our dishes using whole, freshly ground spices and premium halal meats to ensure that every single meal honors our heritage. From our friendly service to our generous portion sizes, we run our dining room with the same care and warmth we bring to our own family dinner table.
